Monterrey, Mexico. December 6, 2016. Nemak, S.A.B. de C.V., a leading provider of innovative lightweighting solutions for the global automotive industry ("Nemak") (BMV: NEMAK), has received double honors from the National Technology and Innovation Award (PNTi), which is overseen by Mexico's Economy Ministry and National Council of Science and Technology (Conacyt). PNTi focuses on supporting the development of businesses and other organizations through the recognition, promotion, and facilitation of successful technology and innovation management processes.
Nemak participated in the categories of Process Innovation and Product Innovation, winning both of them.

Armando Tamez received the awards from Mexico's Economy Secretary, Ildefonso Guajardo Villarreal, at a ceremony attended by members of the presidential cabinet, governors of several Mexican states, and business leaders, among other guests.
