Changes in Management
Monterrey, Mexico. December 1, 2015. - Nemak, S.A.B. de C.V. (“Nemak”) (BMV: NEMAK), a leading provider of innovative lightweighting solutions for the global automotive industry informs that Patrick Flynn, US & Canada Business Unit Director, is leaving Nemak. He will be replaced by Luis Manuel Peña Cavazos, who is currently our South America Business Unit Director. During Luis´s eighteen-year tenure at Nemak, he has held management positions in the Strategic Planning, Product Development, and Operations areas. He earned a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a Master´s degree in Business Administration from ITESM. These changes are effective today.
Additionally, Dietrich Kahn, who is currently the Manager of our plant in Wernigerode, Germany, will now serve as our South America Business Unit Director. For the past seven years, Dietrich has held management positions in Operations and Engineering areas at Nemak. He earned a PhD in Metallurgy and Casting from RWTH Aachen University in Germany. This change is also effective today.
In their new roles, Luis Manuel Peña Cavazos and Dietrich Khan will report to the CEO of the company.
